About me and my therapy practice
By focussing on what you want to gain from counselling, I will help you through a dialogue of exploration, reflection and understanding of your emotions, thoughts and responses to gain new insight and perspective. This process frequently leads to approaching difficulties in a different way, resulting in better outcomes and you are most likely to also experience a beneficial improvement in your well being and in your relationships.
Having the experience of being listened to by someone who has a genuine desire to understand what it is like to be you is enormously supportive. Clients find talking to someone who is not connected to them allows a freedom in expression which leads to a greater understanding of oneself and others. Counselling can be an affirming and potent way to create positive change leading to reduced tension and stress and managing more effectively whatever you are facing.
