About me and my therapy practice
I have an extensive and varied experience of working with issues to do with the human condition working with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-worth and drug and alcohol addiction.
Generally, when people are seeking therapy, it is usually because something in their lives is causing discomfort, confusion, or distress. Anxiety is currently the most common cause of an unhappy, stressful life, others are depression, relationship difficulties, perpetual patterns of events or feelings that repeat themselves bullying, work related stress, a general sense of lack of fulfilment, anger, OCD the list goes on.
You are unique and there is no one else exactly like you in the world, which is why having a therapist with several Skills can help to meet your individual needs. Therapy is a way of taking care of you, giving yourself the space, which in turn will help you to make sense of the things that you may be experiencing.
You can expect me to be curious and interested in you, and to work with you at your own pace.
My first session
If you express an interest in working together, I offer the opportunity for us to meet via Zoom to see if you feel that I am the right therapist for you.
