About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am Natalie, I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, I have a bachelor’s degree from Leeds Metropolitan University and a master’s degree in Occupational Psychology from Northumbria University. Outside my private practice, I lead a Counselling Service in Northumberland for the ageing population.
My private practice is an online and digital counselling service, I understand that life can be busy and often getting to a face-to-face appointment is sometimes difficult to arrange. I provide a completely remote counselling service, in which I facilitate telephone and online counselling through platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I offer online therapy to adults across the whole of the UK.
I provide a holistic approach using person centred therapy, mindfulness, and CBT. This combined approach helps to reduce anxiety, stress, and depression. We use different mindful techniques to help give you a calming coping mechanism for the issues you are dealing with.
I offer a free half an hour consultation for you to find out if you would like support through myself. There is no obligation from this consultation, I will find out a little bit about your issues, and what has brought you to therapy.
It is often an overwhelming process to reach out and ask for help, and to not know what will happen in a therapy session. I pride myself in being a very approachable and friendly person who provides person centred care that is tailored to the individual.
You can enquire about my services through my website or contacting me on 07359676224 or emailing me: natalie@pathwaytowellness.org.uk

Self-esteem and self confidence
In my therapy, we will work on exercises to help reduce your anxiety and give you helpful coping strategies. We will practice mindfulness, and I will show you how deep breathing can help your body and your mind to become calmer.
I have always been passionate about understanding each individual’s issues and problems. I use my expertise in counselling and psychotherapy to provide a holistic, non-judgemental, caring space for you to voice what you are going through. I believe that feeling able to open to someone and trust them is such an important part of counselling. I will carry out an assessment to make sure I am the best person for you. However, if you feel I am not the right match, I will support you to find someone who is.
My first session
In our first session, we will discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to achieve and any goals you would like to work towards.
I will tell you a bit more about how I practice and go through the therapy contract together.
