About me and my therapy practice
Are you are experiencing loss or bereavement, loneliness, family problems, anxiety, anger, domestic abuse, depression, disappointment, addiction recovery, low self-esteem or difficulty in your relationships? Perhaps you do not know which way to turn. I believe that counselling can be a support whilst you explore your painful feelings so that you can gradually discover your own and new inner resources. Maybe your goal can be to deal more confidently with your difficulties, move forward and find more fulfilment and satisfaction in your life.
I come from a nursing background and this very naturally led me on to become a Cruse Bereavement Volunteer Counsellor. I decided to develop this new career and was awarded a Diploma in Counselling at Weston College and became an accredited member of the BACP. Using person-centred, CBT, transactional analysis, gestalt, creative and integrative counselling I have worked in several Counselling Agencies in Weston and also have my own Private Practice as well as continual professional reading, training and supervision.
Clients have given me permission to quote these comments: " Counselling has helped me deal with situations so I can get control back in my life" and "Counselling has helped me to find answers within myself".
