Availability
I offer a safe and confidential space where we can work together from my counselling room within the grounds of my home.
Please contact me for current availability to see how best we can work together.
I offer counselling sessions that last for 50 minutes and cost £60 for clients seeking regular therapy, usually on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
I also offer well-being check in sessions which are 60 minutes long and cost £70. These are for clients that perhaps no longer require regular counselling but want to continue to manage their mental health. Usually on a 4-6 weekly basis.
Short term, time-limited and open-ended counselling is available.
Some people have specific issues that only require very few sessions. Others find that they have less specific goals or more deep-seated issues and find that a longer period of counselling is useful. Every person is unique and the pace at which they work will vary. The total number of sessions doesn't have to be decided at the outset and may become more apparent as the counselling proceeds.
About me and my therapy practice
You matter. Mental health issues can cloud your relationships, family life and career. Counselling can help you to navigate difficult life situations and can provide you with the tools and insights to manage your own mental health issues going forwards. Talking with a qualified and experienced counsellor can help you to feel heard and understood, release bottled up feelings, explore choices and solutions and feel better about yourself. I believe that the main aim and benefit of counselling is to promote your well-being, empowering you to be able to lead a healthy, more helpful and fulfilling life. Feel safe and supported with me.
I offer a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere in order to promote development and change, helping to support you in moving forwards. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, my services aim to introduce clarity to your thoughts and feelings; increasing your own self-awareness to encourage you become more resilient and understanding of your own behaviour.
Counselling can be a difficult process, acknowledging that you need counselling can be hard, work in the room can also sometimes feel challenging and painful. However, it can also be a positive freeing experience; bringing about insight and awareness, a change in relationships and a personal sense of being.
Practice description
I am an integratively trained counsellor, who utilises cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), client-centred therapy and psychodynamic counselling in my practice.
Whilst drawing on these different theoretical approaches, the way in which we work together will be based on your needs as a unique individual with your own personal story and challenges you wish to share with me.
I seek to build positive, empathetic relationships with my clients, so that the relationship between us becomes a supportive environment in order to promote your healing, growth and change.

- anxiety
- stress
- self-harm
- suicidal ideation
- depression
- low self-esteem
- relationship issues
- anger
- loss
As well as working in private practice, I have worked as a college and school counsellor and within charities offering low-cost counselling to a diverse client base. Prior to qualifying as a counsellor, I worked within a successful Marketing company in London for 10 years, managing and developing individuals; supporting them with their own professional and personal growth.
My first session
I offer a short free initial telephone session which provides the chance to ask questions about what is offered, discuss what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain; ensuring I am the right therapist for you. Requesting an initial telephone call gives you the opportunity of meeting me and getting an idea of how I work before embarking on your counselling journey with me and committing to further sessions.
I seek to build positive, empathetic relationships with my clients, so that the relationship between us becomes a supportive environment in order to promote your healing, growth and change.
