About me and my therapy practice

Making the first step towards better emotional health can be difficult. At one time or another, we all experience stress, anxiety or sorrow in our lives. You don’t have to live with the pain these symptoms cause. Therapy can help, leading to the possibility of transformational and lasting change. 

Working together, we look at your current problems and how these may be related to your life history. Exploring your life and understanding these links together is the first step towards figuring out new and different ways of thinking, feeling and functioning, thus decreasing suffering and enhancing joy. 

My intention is to help you feel more enlivened, gain self-confidence and become more successful in both your relationships and in the workplace.

Practice description

I have extensive clinical experience offering psychodynamic psychotherapy and counselling to adults from across London in face-to-to face sessions in a compassionate, non-judgemental and warm environment. I work in NW11 and also offer sessions online.

I am a BACP, UKCP and BPC-registered therapist with experience of working with individuals at every stage of the life cycle and across a range of difficulties. These include: anxiety, depression, stress, low self esteem, loneliness, feeling stuck, relationship issues, trauma, self harm and pregnancy and post pregnancy related issues including infertility, reproductive loss and attachment to your newborn.

My first session

The first step is an initial brief phone call, at no charge. I would like to hear about you and the issues that concern you. Following that, we will arrange for a time to meet, whether together in the room or online. 

Our telephone conversation and first appointment will give you a sense of what it might feel like to work with me and give you an indication of whether I might be a good therapeutic fit for you. 

I understand both the vulnerability and the courage it takes to reach out for help.
