About me and my therapy practice
Hello and Welcome!
I’ll bring the skills and you bring yourself, together we will find a way through whatever is bringing you to counselling.
I have a lot of experience of working with people and I know that when people feel seen and heard they feel valued and this can be the start of new and exciting things.
I’ll be by your side as you take a stroll through the experiences you’ve had and challenges you’re facing. Sometimes we aren’t sure exactly what’s ‘wrong’ (the sun could be shining but we only see grey) and other times we know what we want but aren’t sure how to get there. I can help you work it out by gently enabling you to explore the possibilities and choices available to you. Life is full of opportunity for each of us but we don’t always feel that way. Our experiences can prevent us from living the life we would like to live and once we have had the time and space to look at what’s holding us back, we can begin to explore new pathways whether that’s in our home life, our personal life or in our work life.
Talking to someone who isn’t family or friends is helpful, because you can speak freely and openly about the things that are closest to you and you won’t be judged or given advice but you will feel the freedom of truly being yourself. You might feel lighter because when feelings are bottled up and not expressed they can lead to anger and resentment which causes difficulty in our relationships. Counselling is an investment in your own self, your wellbeing and is the first step in being the best version of you there is. It can be difficult to justify that investment, but if you can, then those around you will also feel the benefit.
Sessions are online via Skype or face to face.
I offer counselling with Individuals, Couples or Groups.
I also offer eco walk and talk sessions.
