About me and my therapy practice
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and I have been in private practice since 1994, offering counselling, psychotherapy and supervision. I also work with counsellors and psychotherapists in training at Diploma and MA Level.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and I draw on Psychosynthesis, Jungian, humanistic and psychodynamic perspectives in my work. I provide a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore and resolve the issues or concerns in your life.
People come into counselling and therapy for a variety of reasons and I can offer both short term and longer term work depending on what you want and on the issues that we are working with.
If you are interested in counselling or psychotherapy, the first step is to make an appointment for an Initial Assessment Meeting. This meeting is for you to tell me about yourself, the issues that you might want to focus on and to ask any further questions you may have of me. If after that meeting we decide to work together, I ask for an initial commitment to 6 sessions. In the 6th session we would review the work together and decide whether to complete at that point or continue in ongoing counselling or psychotherapy.
The fee for the Initial Assessment is £35.00 for the hour.
Ongoing fees are £65.00 per hour.
