Hi, I am Kim Skilling and I am an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. I was also registered and practiced in Canada for 12 years. I have 30 years of experience and specialise in working with Individuals, Couples, Families, and youth.

My extensive training and experience, have exposed me to a diverse clientele, both culturally and economically. I have Private Practice and alongside I have always worked for Social Services and in the Education system. My background also allows me to work on a variety of issues. I am also a trained supervisor and provide support to trainees and other therapists.

Throughout my career, I have found that regardless of the presenting problems, most people share a desire to understand what's going on in their life and the effects it is having on them, or their relationships.

The first session is to get to know each other, share information and for me to take your details. This information goes towards me building a better picture of you and your needs. It is also the beginning of building a trusting relationship.
