Therapist - Eastbourne

Eastbourne BN20
Sessions from £45.00

I offer a free 30-minute introductory zoom or telephone meeting, my usual working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I abide by their Ethical Framework. I am also an Affiliate Member, National Centre for Eating Disorders.

I offer to support you as you work through whatever you bring to counselling. I have a warm, empathic manner and a non-judgemental approach. Together we will work to create a safe therapeutic relationship so you can be heard and accepted without judgement and work towards the growth or change you seek.

I have a particular interest in Eating Disorders and hold the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) Practitioners Advanced Diploma, Eating Disorders and Obesity. I follow NCFED’s approach to counselling for people with eating disorders, people of larger size and with obesity problems, this is more directive than my approach in general counselling.

I chose counselling as a later life career. I have a wealth of life experience having raised my family and lived in many different areas of England as well as spending some years in America. My varied working life included jobs in the voluntary sector, the Civil Service and in large Corporations. I also spent many years as a carer.
