About me and my therapy practice
Taking the first steps towards therapy is a brave and personal journey. I will ensure that you are safe and supported. I can help you view your current situation through a new lens of light, depth and clarity. Together, we can change old and unhelpful perspectives and feelings about yourself and your life, and ultimately help you make positive changes. Learning how to put the pieces of your puzzle back together with compassion and sensitivity will create empowering changes, leading to loving your life and accepting every aspect of it. It might be the most important journey you will ever make.
There are times when the challenges of life can make us feel emotionally overwhelmed and isolated, and it may feel difficult to talk about how we feel to those who are closest to us. We can experience crises such as a sudden trauma or loss which makes coping with every-day life a struggle. Sometimes we experience personal difficulties with their roots buried in past trauma and sometimes we just don’t know what is wrong.
I offer a person-centred psychotherapeutic approach, in a safe, non-judgmental space where any issues can be explored in complete confidentiality. Through exploring problems together, I will help you to discover a deeper understanding of yourself; to help you grow and conquer issues that may previously have been experienced as all-consuming or overwhelming. We will look at your problems in the present and identify the roots of these problems from your past, exploring here and now possibilities for coping with and for improving your life.
Qualifications:
BA (Hons) Dip Humanistic Counselling – University of Chichester

I am actively engaged in continued professional development.
