About me and my therapy practice
Remote counselling sessions via video, telephone or email for your convenience and preference, timings and session frequency can be flexible.
I often use an integrative approach, which brings in a few different modalities, to support you with your issues and goals for therapy. My style is gentle, informal and compassionate with my base training being in Person-Centred and Existential therapy.
I work on a 121 basis. Session frequency is normally weekly, for 50 minutes either on the telephone, video link e.g.: Zoom / Teams or email - which would consist of one email exchange a week from me on an agreed day via a secure email platform.
I can offer short term to medium term therapy with the number of sessions led by your needs, the issues and the progress we make.
My first session
Our first session will be a consultation to explore your hopes and goals for therapy and for us to decide if I am the right counsellor for you. I may send you a form and a questionnaire to complete prior to this session or we will use this session to complete it together. This should take around 30 minutes and will be free.
