About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for stopping by to read my page and to find out a little about who I am and what I do.
My name is Fiona and I am an Integrated Psychotherapist who was principally trained as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist but over the years I have gathered some knowledge in different therapy approaches so I can really help get to the core of your difficulties and provide a good start to help implement change and personal growth.
My work is delivered mostly in person but can also be online and I specialise principally in Trauma/PTSD, Family Estrangement, Grief and Loss, Domestic Abuse and Relationship difficulties for both Individuals and Couples. My CBT knowledge is also helpful for Anxiety problems and Depression, OCD, Menopause and Chronic Pain.
I prefer for you to contact by Email and then we can either set up an introductory phonecall with a time that suits you best so you can feel if this will help you get a sense of how I am and if you could imagine working with me.
My Practice is in a town called Robroyston which is only a few miles away from the City of Glasgow and a few minutes just off the M8. I see clients in my comfortable and peaceful Garden Room which is a private and safe space where there are no waiting rooms . This lovely space helps to explore your problems past and present where I will be your empathic witness on your therapy journey going forwards.
Here I believe is where every single individual and couple are unique and every problem that is shared with me will be approached with an impartial and non judgemental way.

My first session
In my first sessions with couples, I offer 90 minutes due to needing more time to gather more background information. Afterwards, subsequent sessions with couples will then be 60 minutes thereon.
