Available Tuesday to Friday until 9 p.m. Sunday 6 pm -9 pm
I offer a flexible way of working via a convenient booking page that allows you the client (or supervisee) to choose when you want us to work together. Clients can either hop into a single session (SST) or take their time with either short-term or longer-term counselling to work on themselves.
About me and my therapy practice
As a Master in Counselling Psychology with post-graduate qualifications and experience working with adults and young people internationally and in the UK, I work with children young people and families, whether that is education-related school refusers /social anxieties/teachers/international school expat educators, parents and couples alike.
In addition, I work holistically with parents experiencing separation /divorce shared care conflicts, family court /CAFCASS/ Legal involvement etc., supporting their journey throughout the process.
For individuals seeking therapy, for someone to open up to, looking for coping strategies to deal with mild to moderate mental health issues, thoughts feelings and behaviours, relationships or how to better manage life, I have fifteen years of experience working with many of these issues.
As well as face-to-face appointments in my cosy Town Centre Leek private practice (UK), and as a certified online international counsellor, I offer secure video conferencing for online appointments where you are.
Practice description
I practice face-to-face and online by appointment, from Leek town centre (ST13 5DN) in a beautiful Grade 2 listed building 'The Unicorn'.
The Unicorn is a warm and welcoming private therapeutic environment.
Whether attending as a family a couple or an individual you'll find a generous sofa that accommodates all shapes and sizes.
Free beverages and toilets are available on-site as well as discrete entry and exit points.
Wheelchair users are more than welcome, a site inspection or query is recommended if you have a larger-than-average chair just to be sure that your needs are met on the day.
My first session
Your first session will explore your needs, and what brings you to counselling and will determine the best therapeutic approach to find a way forward.

Availability
Offering two-tier flexible supervision options, 45 or 90 minutes as and when required.
Trainee Counsellors on or preparing for placement and the newly qualified L4 + are welcomed. Student Counsellors receive an automatic concession starting at £27.50 45mins for the duration of the course.
With a generous rescheduling window in case of emergency or oversights.
Annual leave is scheduled for 2 weeks in July /2 weeks Dec 23.
