About me and my therapy practice

Are you stressed, anxious or depressed? Are you experiencing emotional turmoil and negative feelings? Do you feel that you have no control over yourself and your life? Do you have low confidence and feel worthless? Are you struggling with your relationships? Do you need to make sense of things?

Here is a helping hand:

I am a highly qualified and BACP accredited counsellor, psychotherapist and psychologist (PhD) with 20 years experience in private practice. I have also worked a number of years for counselling organisations (HBBS and Renew). I offer counselling to individuals and couples for short or long term therapy and personal development, and cover most psychological and emotional issues. I enjoy a high success rate.

How can I help?

By working with me, you will be able to freely express your thoughts and emotions in a confidential and safe environment. Emotionally supportive, non-judgemental and empathetic, I will help you explore and reflect on what is going on in your life and within yourself which is troubling you. The depth and quality of this exploration and reflection is where the service that I offer stands out. My in-depth understanding of human psychology and my ability to embrace and give meaning to most aspects of an individual's psychological life rests on 27 years of intense research activity and a deep commitment to my personal and professional development.

On my website, I discuss in greater length the tremendous advantages of being a theory builder rather than a theory follower to facilitate deep and effective therapeutic and developmental work. You will also find a comprehensive FAQ page where I cover the main questions and concerns that one may have prior to getting involved in therapy.
