About me and my therapy practice
All therapy sessions are currently provided online via Zoom or over the telephone.

I can support you to access your own inner guidance and personal power for healing and change. I can help you unlock your inner potential, release the blocks that are holding you back and break free from the patterns that keep you stuck.
I can help you to understand how your brain, body and soul work together so that you have tools to process your feelings and emotions in a healthy way. This will provide you with inner mastery and a deeper understanding of your life.
I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with BACP and UKCP. I hold a B.Sc. degree in Psychology and have extensive training brain functioning, the effects of stress and trauma on the body, anxiety, and accessing unconscious processes.
I’m also a qualified shamanic practitioner, this way of working enables clients to make changes on all levels of their lives- emotionally, physically and energetically. It also complements and deepens the ways I can support clients through my mainstream training.
I have over 20 years’ experience of providing therapeutic services and sessions to support for children, adolescents and adults.

You and your needs are central to our sessions, you choose what you’d like to work with and how this will look. I will guide you through your inner world, to help you gain new insights into your current situation, circumstances and the area's you want to work with.
The sessions look different for every client. Some clients find it easy to talk about themselves, others struggle to know what is causing their problems and how to express this. All of this is fine, there is no right or wrong way to be, just bring yourself to the session and I will support you through the process.
I work across several modalities (therapies) and I can tailor a style of therapy that you are comfortable with and that will help you meet your goals and needs.
My first session
When booking an appointment, you are normally aware that something is not working; this is can be a physical problem, emotional issue or life circumstance that is no longer serving you. I work with a diverse and wide range of needs.
Prior to booking an appointment we would arrange a time to discuss your needs over the telephone. This is a free no obligation conversation. We will discuss what your needs are, how we can work together & what this will look like, this usually takes about 15 minutes. We can then decide if we'd like to work together and if I'm the right person to support you.
If you'd like to go ahead with a session we'd find a time that suits and book this in. Due to the current circumstances the sessions will be over Zoom or the telephone so we will discuss which option you would prefer and some of the logistics around this.
After your first session you can decide if you would like to continue working with me. If you choose to continue, we would discuss what that on-going arrangement would look like. Most clients need more than one session and benefit from a further block of 5 weekly sessions, with some opting for on-going support depending on their needs and circumstances.
