About me and my therapy practice
The type of therapy I practice looks at how we function uniquely as human beings within a world full of uncertainties, beliefs and expectations. I work on the basis that we each know what is best for our own growth and that we have the ability to make choices. There are of course things that are beyond our control as human beings but it is possible to live with those elements and I can support you to recognise and choose your pathway through those difficult times if that something that you are looking for.
I am not here to give advice but rather to create the space that will allow you to see your own pathway that fits within the world that you live in. By delivering a non-judgmental and honest approach I look forward to experiencing your world alongside you. It is a privilege to be allowed to experience your world and your uniqueness and I continue to learn from individuals time after time.
Trust is a big part of allowing you to explore your inner most thoughts and feelings which is why the pace of the sessions is determined by you. It is important that you feel safe and supported if therapy is to allow you to achieve your wishes or goals in life.
Counselling can be a life changing experience when conducted at the appropriate time, for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and maybe fears. It is also important to find the right counsellor to go through that experience with you.
I am currently offering online and telephone counselling and various times are available to suit needs. The sessions are 50 minutes and are payable at £40.00 per 50 minutes. My first session
In the first session we will discuss your expectations and requirements for counselling. It is also a time to share any worries or concerns that you have in regards to the therapeutic process. We will also discuss certain elements that are required from both the client and myself as the counsellor that create a safe and effective working relationship. This is to ensure that I am able to provide the best service to you.
