Availability
I work from home in a large ground floor apartment. It is set back from the road allowing privacy and quiet.
There is usually free parking on the road outside. Alternatively, I am a 15 minute walk from Bromley South Station which has a direct link to London Victoria.
About me and my therapy practice
I love my work as a Supervisor and work collaboratively looking at both your client's issues and at the emotions and responses you will have towards your clients and the material that they bring into the therapy room.
I aim to provide an environment where experienced counsellors, or trainees, feel able to talk about their successes, struggles, dilemmas, ideas and challenges.
We will highlight ethical dilemmas that emerge and take further guidance together if needed.
We will regularly review our work together to ensure you are getting the support you need for your work.
Practice description
My initial training, which I completed in 2006, was integrative and in my Counselling Practice I have incorporated elements of TA, ACT and CBT. I am therefore able to work with Supervisees from a variety of theoretical approaches. I qualified as a Supervisor in 2015.
My first session
The first session will be getting to know each other and will be charged at half the normal rate.
I will tell you more about myself and answer any questions you may have and I will provide a written working agreement for you to read, take away and bring back if we decide to work together.
Additionally I will want to know where you are training, or where you trained and your current workplace and Client number etc.
