About me and my therapy practice
My role as a therapist is to help you make your life better whatever your current circumstances.
I have worked with young people and adults from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, helping them to develop less destructive ways of living by enabling them to take greater control of their lives.
I can help with anxiety and fear; anger and depression, feelings that are often associated with issues around loss, self-identity, relationships, trauma and abuse.
As a counsellor I offer the understanding and acceptance necessary for you to engage with your own healing processes.
Engaging those processes is not always easy and my skill as a psychotherapist is to engage you in a therapeutic dialogue aimed at preventing deeply ingrained destructive patterns from undermining your healing, helping you to overcome the patterns of the past.
The main benefit of this integrative approach is that we can work together to adapt it to suit your particular needs and to manage it in a way and at a pace that is comfortable for you.
I understand that it is not always easy to know where to turn for help. If you would like a chat about what I can offer then please contact me. Just leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
