About me and my therapy practice

My name is Maria Huant and I offer counselling to couples and individuals, seeking to understand the source of their anxiety, depression, isolation and stress. As an Integrative therapist I am experienced in helping couples and individuals using psychodynamic, systemic and person-centred approaches to resolve conflict, overcome trauma, explore what you want out of your relationship, overcome infidelity, addiction, separation and bereavement. Listening to your needs in a safe and non-judgemental space, I specialise in helping clients find a way forward that honours who they want to be.

Practice description

I offer face-to-face and online therapy in a central London and a west Essex location.

My first session

Our initial session will help us to explore the difficulties you are experiencing and make a choice about your options. Looking for answers can begin by understanding the problem, its context and and what you feel a good outcome would be.

About me and my therapy practice

As a supervisor, I am here for anyone working in the helping professions to process their experiences and find balance in their work. I can support work in front-line roles, bereavement work, therapy or any other context where there is a need to reflect on the impact of looking after others. I have a specialist interest in supporting relationship therapists and those working with baby and infant loss.

Practice description

Supervision sessions can be booked on a fortnightly, monthly or ad-hoc basis and the length of sessions can be agreed to suit your work.
