About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with a loss, either through bereavement, relationship breakdown, loss of health or loss of a job?
Do you feel like you need someone to talk to?
If so, I can help. My name is Chloe and I am a qualified person-centred counsellor specialising in bereavement and loss. I am based in Southampton in the UK and offer my sessions online and by phone. My sessions are for adults aged 18+.
In my sessions I allow you the space to explore whatever may be on your mind at your own pace. I don't give advice but I am there to support you with understanding and warmth.
I believe that you are the expert on yourself and through talking through what is troubling you, over time you will be able to help yourself to a place you want to be.
Practice description
Sometimes beginning your counselling journey can feel difficult talking about things from your past or present day that are causing you distress but you may notice that talking about these can help you to grow and change as a person and to understand yourself better which in turn may help you to feel better too.
Going through a bereavement or loss can make you feel lost, not knowing how or what to do to make yourself feel better. Sometimes it may feel like you won't ever feel better. Talking about who or what you have lost can be a way forward to help you understand how you feel and may shed light on your future.
My first session
I offer a free introductory session for 50 minutes to see if we will be a good fit for each other.
Sessions will be online or by phone, whichever suits you best. I allow you the space to explore what you would like to at your own pace with understanding and support without giving advice.
I can offer open-ended counselling so there is no limit to how many sessions we have.
What I can help with

Types of therapy
Humanistic, Person centred
Clients I work with
