I can offer sessions between 8 am and 7 pm throughout the week via the internet and face to face sessions during the day time only. at a location in central Canterbury.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced counsellor on line . I usually arrange to meet you for an initial consultation so that you can decide if I would be the right counsellor for you at the moment.

I offer a bespoke and confidential service and at the initial consultation I can outline for you the approaches that I am trained in and we can then look at how best to work together.

I first trained in France in Lacanian Psychoanalysis and then on returning to the UK broadened out my approach through studying for an Integrative Diploma.

I have spent the last 18 years working with clients referred to Counselling and Psychological Therapy through Primary Care, in a University setting and through an Employment Assistance Programme..

I have developed my approach through extensive training to be able to support clients with a whole range of reasons for seeking counselling.

I am qualified in EMDR and CBT and can work with trauma and anxiety. My Interpersonal Psychotherapy Training enables me to support clients to overcome depression by looking to find a main focus, role changes, loss and bereavement, disputes and impasses in relationships as well as feelings of social isolation. My core beliefs stem back to my Lacanian training and this would be my chosen way of working for long term therapy.

I am keen to support Trainee Counsellors in their personal journey and will discuss fees for this. I am also able to offer supervision.

Practice description

I am available for online or telephone sessions which enables me to offer sessions to a wide range of clients.

I will shortly be able to offer face to face sessions in Canterbury.

During our first session together we will look at what is happening for you and make a plan together of how you would like to work with me.
