- Neurodiversity
- HSPs (Highly Sensitive People)
- depression
- anxiety
- relationship issues
- bereavement
- work / life balance
- finding meaning in the second half of life / mid-life crisis
I am currently researching the concept of Food and Mood – how what we eat affects how we feel and the psychological benefits of cold water emmersion and wild swimming.
I offer an initial free half-hour session so you can experience what counselling is like.
Qualifications:
2002 - 2007 Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling - University of East London
2016 - 2018 Advanced Diploma in Relational Supervision Severn Talking Therapy
Practice description
My style is relational, intuitive and creative. I don't have a set idea of how we will work together, rather this emerges as we get to know each other. I have a large palette of tools and techniques that I can draw from if this feels appropriate. I enjoy using creative tools - drawing, mind maps, visulaisation, two chair dialogues, subpersonalities, as these go beyond talking and tap into the unconscious.
I believe that the past has a huge effect on our present. This includes parents, schools, early experience, but also our ancestors as we are the latest embodiment of a long line of family.
I work with the present to encourage living in as mindful a way as possible as this reduces anxiety and depression.
I help clients move forward to live a more fulfilling life that is informed by their past, but not limited by it.
My first session
I offer an initial free half-hour session so we can meet. I will gather some background information about you and explore what has brought you to counselling.
What I can help with
ADD / ADHD, Neurodiversity
Types of therapy
Creative therapy, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Psychosynthesis, Relational, Transpersonal
Clients I work with
Adults, EAP, Older adults, Trainees
