About me and my therapy practice

As a therapist who is trauma-informed and has cerebral palsy, I prioritise the five principles of safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment in my practice. I help my clients uncover the ways their personal histories affect them and their body system. Each person has their own unique story, and through therapy and self-discovery, they can gain the insights necessary to move forward. Trauma-informed therapy is inclusive and beneficial for all individuals. I guide you as the expert of your own life, providing a nurturing space for learning and personal growth. My expertise lies in Disability Counselling, Trauma, and Pre-Trial Therapy. I recognise that no one has walked in your shoes, and by acknowledging and respecting your experiences, the path to recovery can begin.

Practice description

I have worked with many individuals with a range of issues, grief, depression, and anxiety. Individuals dealing with many issues of abuse, be it physical, sexual and more. As well as individuals with disabilities. As a therapist with cerebral palsy and a wheelchair user myself, I find my understanding can enhance my awareness when helping clients.
