I am unable to take new clients at the present time but plan to resume normal working Mon 1st March. My apologies if you had hoped to see me specifically.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi my name is Chris and I am a Counsellor with 13 years’ experience of working with adults in many different settings. I am BACP accredited and also a qualified Supervisor. I combine my initial Person-Centred training with CBT in a way that works to support you to find your own solutions to what is troubling you.
I am happy to work with most presentations because over the years I have worked with people with many forms of psychological issues including bereavement, anxiety & stress, panic attacks, eating disorders, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, depression and doubts about sexual orientation.
Prior to training as a counsellor, up until 2014 I was a Radiographer/Sonographer in the NHS, UK Private healthcare and overseas. I therefore bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from that part of my life which I find enhances the skills I offer to my clients.
I do not work with couples, families or under 18’s because I have no experience in these areas.
I work out of a room at the Leicester Sport Medicine Clinic in Leicester or from my home near Market Harborough. I have appointments on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday early evening and a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
