About me and my therapy practice
The essence of my counselling philosophy is the belief and knowledge that the therapeutic relationship itself is the conduit to lasting change.
I have worked in education for over 20 years, as a teacher, a SEN specialist and a school counselor.
I use creative media, story, imagery and metaphor to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
I specialize with working with young people and adolescents using this method to effectively to support the counseling process.
My first session
I know it can be a big decision to access therapy and that therapy might not be for you or your child at this time. That's why I like to chat to all of our potential clients before I make appointments.
Following this, the first session is an intake assessment lasting 30 minutes where I can meet and chat to you and your child. Cost is £20
If you decide to move forward into therapy sessions thereafter are 50 minutes in length at cost £50.
