About me and my therapy practice
Our relationships are the bedrocks of our lives. From our earliest years to our latest years, our need for connection never diminishes.
We want to feel heard, seen and valued whether that be by our closest most intimate relationships, our friendships and our families.
It is not always possible to feel connected due to many reasons and everyone has a unique story to tell.
My role as a relationship therapist is to support you whether that be individually, as a couple or as part of a family dynamic.
Couples - Your relationship may be going through a change. You might need help with communication, unhelpful patterns in the relationship, trust issues or situations affecting you as a couple.
Individuals - You might need the space to explore your own feelings about any relationship in your life. This could be a partner, family member or work relationship or friendship.
I am supportive, respectful and genuine, and I believe in creating a safe and supportive space that you feel you can be yourself within.
I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, abuse, relationship issues, divorce & separation, coping with injury & illness, low self esteem, stress, work-related problems, identity and sexuality issues, anger, life crisis, post-natal depression, cancer, trauma, bereavement and other forms of loss.

About me and my therapy practice
Supervision is a supportive space in which my aim is for you is to feel that you can bring yourself and your clinical work whilst feeling supported and appropriately challenged.
I am a qualified supervisor and I bring my experience as a clinical manager to the supervisory relationship. I have managed and supported a counselling team in private practice and schools for the last five years and I have been a practising psychotherapist for ten years.
As a practitioner I have a specialist interest in adult work, couple therapy and child therapy. I have supported counsellors in their development from qualifying stage upwards as they establish themselves in practice.
My supervision is informed by the Hawkins & Shohet seven eyed model which is a relational and systemic model. I am also informed by the Integrated Developmental model by Stole berg & Delworth 2002.
I have supported practitioners in practice with relational aspects of therapy, safeguarding, procedural and professional issues and their own personal and professional development.
I have experience in supporting counsellors working with children aged 5 upwards and adult therapy. I have a specialist interest as a practitioner in anxiety, trauma, relationships and family work. I am a commissioned therapist with both Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire county councils and provide therapeutic services at their request. My private practice has been established for 10 years and supports a team of full time counsellors.
I believe in a supportive, reflective supervisory relationship in which you feel supported yet challenged to support your individual growth and development as a practitioner in your own right.
My aim is to support you in supporting your clients safely and ethically and my commitment to you is in building a trusting, transparent and warm professional relationship in support of your practice.
