About me and my therapy practice

Welcome, I am a Psychotherapeutic therapist and I support adults, couples, and children.

At some stage in our lives we can experience difficult and overwhelming feelings or situations that can be challenging to cope with.

I have a specialist interest in working with adults, couples and couple relationships. I have nine years post qualification experience and lead a team of counsellors in private practice.

Having worked as a therapist for nine years, I am committed to providing a confidential space where working in an empathic, supportive and non-judgemental way your reasons for coming to therapy can be carefully explored together.

I work integratively, meaning that I draw upon a range of theories allowing us to work together with choice and flexibility.

I am supportive, respectful and genuine, and I believe the quality of the therapeutic relationship between us as being central to our work together.

My aim is to provide a warm, safe, non-judgemental, supportive environment where you experience being deeply listened to.

I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, abuse, relationship issues, divorce & separation, coping with injury & illness, low self esteem, stress, work-related problems, identity and sexuality issues, anger, life crisis, post-natal depression, cancer, trauma, bereavement and other forms of loss.

In addition to my private practice I also work as a therapist alongside other professionals offering psychotherapeutic support within agency settings, working specifically in the areas of relationship difficulties and issues impacting individuals within families.

I also have counselling experience within the Cancer sector supporting both patients and families.

Alongside my adult work, I am commissioned by schools throughout herts, beds and bucks delivering therapy and mental health training to schools.

Please see my website for more details.
