About me and my therapy practice
Compassionate and creative psychotherapeutic counselling with a warm and relatable BACP registered qualified therapist.
I offer humanistic, psychodynamic based integrative therapy informed by a relational approach. What is this like in practise? Essentially, supported by a safe environment without external pressure or judgment, we can explore anything you need to (you might not know what - that is welcome too). Led by your experiences and feelings and with the support of therapeutic knowledge, we will look to expand your understanding and diffuse the impact of what might be hindering you.
By understanding our own experiences, how we really feel and how we might be behaving in greater depth, we can reconfigure ourselves to find more helpful ways of being -ways that are more satisfying, enhance well being or allow us to live in a way that feels more authentic to ourselves.
Practice description
I completed training at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling, a course accredited by both BACP & UKCP qualifying in humanistic and integrative counselling (DipHIC, distinction, BCPC).
I offer both long and short term therapy via telephone/Zoom and face to face in Frome. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like a (free) initial 20-30 minute telephone assessment (with no obligation to continue).
