I have availability within my practice and my hours are flexible usually between 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday.
If you cannot attend sessions during those hours, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate an alternative time to suit both of us.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Nic. I offer a listening ear to hear what you have to say about what life is like for you at the moment.
I can work with you in several ways: face to face in my private therapy room, online via zoom or walking or sitting side by side outdoors in nature and I'll use a gentle, humanistic integrative counselling approach.
I'm passionate about our human right to choice and freedom. How we choose to live our own individual life to optimise our feeling of contentment, fulfilment and satisfaction and to be in contact with our real self.
We'll work together to understand and explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, helping you to find the real you, what's hidden beneath layers that have built up through life experience in order to protect yourself and survive and how you go forward and discover with confidence.
My first session
Before our first session I offer a free 15 minute consultation by telephone just for us to have a quick chat and to introduce ourselves.
Our first session in person or via zoom will last 60 minutes to give extra time to complete a short assessment form and discuss our contract for working together before you talk about you. This will be at the price of a normal 50 minute session (no more!).
Our first session will also give you the opportunity to decide whether you would like to work with me and if I can be of help. There's no obligation to have a second session if you feel this is not right for you.
