About me and my therapy practice
I work face to face and also via the internet using Zoom.
The sessions last an hour.
I work with all ages and gender using talking therapy as well as creative therapy where appropriate.
I use various theoretical models of therapy ,whichever is most appropriate to the client.
One model does not fit all I endeavour for all clients to leave with techniques they can choose to use for themselves.
To facilitate positivity and psychological wellbeing through talking therapy and symbolism and metaphor .If appropriate, creative therapy.
My first session
In the first session I like to establish whether there can be a therapeutic working relationship between the client and myself.
From over 40 years of practice I feel we can work straight away in the first session as long term therapy isn't always possible due to finance and/or work referrals.
