I currently offer evening and weekend sessions. Sessions can be online or in person. My consultation room is in a central location in Douglas, Isle of Man (parking facilities available).
About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred counsellor. The way I work depends on the individual and their needs. I will take time to find out about you and what has brought you to counselling. It is important that you are able to talk about your issues in a safe and comfortable space without feeling worried or judged. I will encourage you to work at your own pace whilst listening and offering support. I believe that you are the expert in your life and counselling can help you to get in touch with your true self, enabling you to trust in your own instincts and become empowered by it.
My work with clients is long and short term based. I have a wide range of experience in supporting people through a variety of different mental health issues, life transitions and challenges.
My first session
The first session is usually focused on finding out what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it. From that point we can discuss the way forward.
