I am available for face-to-face sessions where I see clients in the grounds of Hatfield Park. It is easily accessible by car with ample car parking right outside or a few minute's walk from Hatfield train station.
Alternatively, I am available for online sessions (Zoom / Skype) or via phone.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a humanistic integrative therapist. In other words, I have been trained to understand numerous theoretical concepts.
So, what does this mean in practice? I draw upon an array of tools that I believe work for you. There is no one size that fits all in therapy. The relationship between the therapist and client is unique and I wholeheartedly believe that it is this relationship that leads to a successful therapeutic outcome.
I have experience in short and long-term counselling.
My formal studying was undertaken by completing a BACP accredited course and I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling .
Practice description
I place the utmost importance on making clients feel comfortable. I want you to say whatever you may be thinking and in return, I provide a safe, warm, and confidential space. I am a naturally empathic individual, being authentic means the world to me and what this means in practice is that there are no judgements.
It may take a few sessions to 'get to know each other' but I will do everything I possibly can to make you feel at ease. This will then allow us to explore whatever may be presenting, be it in the past or present.
My first session
Please do not hesitate to phone or email if you feel that I may be able to help you. If I am unable to answer please do leave me a message and I shall call you back. Alternatively, do send me an email, let me know when you are available to speak and I shall come back to you. This allows for us to have an initial conversation and see how I am able to help.
During our first session, we can explore what brings you to therapy, ask any questions that you may have and discuss how we can work together should you decide to proceed.
