About me and my therapy practice
I offer short and long term therapy to people aged 16 and onwards. Your treatment plan is made in collaboration with you which demonstrates how I work therapeutically. We establish goals and areas in which you would like to see change so that there is focus and clarity in every session.
I work with a variety of difficulties, including depression, work-based stress, anxiety, bereavement, attachment trauma and medically-unexplained symptoms, such as fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue. My way of helping can use interventions from Cognitive Behavioural, person-centred and attachment therapies, and I tailor my interventions for clients' individual needs.
I can help people with medically-unexplained symptoms through a psychodynamic approach which explores the relationship between emotional and physical health. This can develop valuable self-insight, leading to healthy processing of feelings and a reduction in physical symptoms.
