About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP and NCS accredited counsellor and I offer an integrative approach of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-centred and Psychodynamic therapy. I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief.
Practice description
I am currently working online or telephone. I have been practising as a counsellor since 2016 with an organisation in the voluntary sector. I can offer private clients both short and long term counselling to individual clients. I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from QUB and then qualified in integrative counselling in 2015. I then completed a CBT level 5 diploma qualification.
I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space for clients to talk about the issues that bring you to seek counselling and we can work through these issues in a collaborative way .
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
My first session
My first session is a 50 minute session and includes discussion of our contract together, expectations of each other. Also an assessment of any risks, consultation form to discuss issues and background and collate some personal details. I then offer a plan of working together to improve the issues and we then decide collaboratively if we should progress with the therapy.
