About me and my therapy practice
It is my belief that we all have very unique and individual reasons and circumstances surrounding our issues and that taking the step to share them with someone else can be intimidating. Which is why I am open to working in a non-judgemental way, with anyone who feels they want to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe and nurturing environment. I offer face to face or online video counselling via Zoom because I realise that not everyone wants to be in the same room as their therapist or are able to travel.Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor with experience of working with a diverse range of clients and issues. I currently work for an NHS mental health service in Birmingham, having previous experience of work in schools, employee assistance programmes and hospice. I am also interested in working with creative writing in therapy.
As a board member of the BACP Healthcare Executive, I am committed to improving the role of counselling within healthcare settings, and have previously spent more than 20 years in other roles within the NHS.
I currently offer automatic discounts to NHS staff and emergency services, and am happy to consider further concessions on an individual basis.
My private practice is based at Cowley Road in Oxford, or at an alternative location outside Chipping Norton.
