About me and my therapy practice
I provide a safe and confidential space where you can talk - without fear of judgement - about the issues in your life that may be uncomfortable, confusing or painful. This can help you manage difficult feelings, find new ways of relating to yourself and others, support you through life crises or life changes. Working together, we can look at your experience and feelings, find different ways of coping, and see what options you might have for making changes or perhaps for adapting to the things you can’t change in life.
I currently offer online and telephone counselling, at times to suit you. Therapy can take place over the short term or it can be open ended. I’m experienced in both and we can discuss what might be best for you during our first session. Sessions last 50 minutes, ideally take place at the same time each week and are confidential.
My first session
Our first session provides us with the opportunity to get to know one another. I will take some background information from you and then you will have a chance to talk about why you've come for counselling now.
