About me and my therapy practice
Are you and your partner experiencing issues with intimacy, communication, or infidelity issues? Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, bereavement, or self-esteem problems? I am a counsellor/psychotherapist at Tranquillum Therapy, who provides counselling for both individuals and couples. I provide a comfortable, confidential safe space for you to discuss any life difficulties you are experiencing. I use an integrative counselling model, where I apply a variety of counselling approaches to best suit your needs. Where appropriate, I can help you learn new coping strategies.

I am a fully qualified and insured therapist registered with the BACP. I currently work from home via Zoom or phone calls. I plan to return to the office in September; however, I will continue offering Zoom/phone sessions as well. Prior to returning to the office, a risk assessment will take place and safety measures for COVID-19 will be put into effect to keep both parties safe. Feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss this in more detail.
My office is based on the 1st floor and is not suitable for wheelchair users or anyone unable to climb stairs. If you have difficulty with the stairs, please call me and we can try to arrange a suitable alternative.
My first session
Some people experience anxiety or apprehension about what to expect going into their first session of therapy. I try to make the initial session as comfortable as possible, so please let me know if there is anything you wish me to be mindful of. During the first session, we will discuss your background, what difficulties you are currently facing, and how we can work on them together.
