I want you to know, you are not alone. I will be beside you as we navigate what has brought you to this point. We will work together to help you, move forward from here.
The most important thing is that you deserve the chance to heal - and by researching therapists, you have already started that journey.
In my practice, I provide a safe, non judgemental space to gently explore what is going on for you right now.
As an integrative relationship therapist, I draw on different psychotherapeutic approaches to tailor the therapy to your needs. These may include elements of relational CBT, humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment, trauma informed approaches etc.
I have worked within various services that help clients with anxiety, depression and trauma within the NHS.
I have several years experience working within a specialist suicide prevention charities and bereavement charities.
Presently I am working in my private practice, alongside volunteering as a therapist in a disability charity. (I work with individuals that have either been born with or recently been diagnosed with a health condition, physical impairment or neurodivergent.).
My practice is inclusive and accessible, I welcome all adults from any community, especially those that may be feel marginalised from their families or society.
I offer both short-term and long-term as well as open-ended therapy.
I accept referrals from social services and charities for time limited work.
My first session
First sessions give us a chance to meet one another and decide if we can work together. In these sessions, I am interested in learning about you, what has brought you to counselling, what you would like to gain from therapy, and any hopes or worries you may have about your past, present or future.
You are free to ask me questions about the way I work.
By the end of this session, we should be able to decide together the best way forward.
