From April 2024 I am able to offer in person Saturday Morning Sessions in Faversham.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, my name is Laura.  I am a Faversham and online based counsellor.  I have experience of working with a range of issues including bereavement, anxiety, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, depression, relationships, parenting and disability.  You can view my qualifications on my website which is:

I understand that life can feel overwhelming and it can be difficult to make sense of how you are feeling. You may have experienced loss in your life; or feel anxious, low, stressed. judged or stuck. I can provide you with a confidential space and an emphatic listening ear, where you can be yourself and express how you feel without judgment. We can work together to help you through the difficulties that you are facing.

I work mainly in a person centred way which means that I am lead by you and your needs, and that our therapeutic relationship is key.  Since I trained in an integrative way, this means that I can draw from more than one counselling approach to best suit your needs.

I work in private practice with adults aged 18+.  Alongside my private practice I also work with young people and adults in a college setting.


Practice description

I currently work online using Microsoft TEAMS.

From April 2024 I am offering Saturday Morning sessions from a clinic location in Faversham, Kent.

I work with clients in either a short term or long term way.

My first session

If you would like to book a session, please email or telephone me.  I will offer you a free 30 minute consultation over Microsoft TEAMS. Although we will not be able to go into depth, I will ask you about what you would like to bring to counselling and what your needs are. You will have an opportunity to ask me any questions and see if I am the right fit for you. If you wish to go ahead we would book in six initial sessions. They would normally be for the same time each week. I would recommend that you ensure that you have privacy during our consultation call.
