About me and my therapy practice
My practice is in Central London (Maida Vale & Paddington).
I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and Accredited/Registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and Prof/Accred member of NCS (National Counselling Society).
I have over 10 years' counselling/psychotherapy experience, an educational background and experience of working with individuals, couples and groups. I am also BUPA Recognised and Fee Assured Mental Health and Well-Being Practitioner and registered as a Health Provider with Nuffield Health, Aviva, AXA PPP and Vitality.
I subscribe to the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I am also a member of EMDR Association UK.
I have trained Integratively, which means that I practise different counselling models: Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural, Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), NLP, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Existential Therapy. I have experience in short- as well as long-term work. My work experience includes working with minority, multicultural, neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ clients, providing Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity (GSRD) affirmative therapy.
My qualifications include:
CPPD Counselling School Diploma in Clinical Supervision (Integrative)
CPCAB Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Integrative – Level 5)
EMDR Practitioner
I am based at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in Central London, close to Warwick Avenue and Paddington underground stations, as well as on the bus routes 6, 15, 18, 46, 187, 332 and 414.
Additionally, I offer therapy outdoors (Walk and Talk Therapy) as well as online.
Practice description
Due to the current pandemic, all of the sessions are conducted online via FaceTime, Skype, Zoom or by telephone, depending on what the client prefers. In addition to remote counselling, I am also offering therapy outside in nature, rather than in an enclosed space, to mitigate any risks to health, while adhering to the social distancing regulations.Walk and Talk Therapy takes place close to my clinical practice indoors, in Little Venice / Westbourne Green, close to Royal Oak Underground Station, W2 6ET.
