About me and my therapy practice
Deciding to access counselling can be a difficult first step for any of us, and I recognise the bravery it take to simply get to this point.
As a professionally qualified and experienced person-centred counsellor, I believe that you know yourself better than anyone. Working together in a mutually respectful way, I hope I can offer you the time and space in which to explore the feelings and issues you would like to talk about in a confidential and safe environment.
I work from a secluded private location between High Wycombe, Great Missenden and Princes Risborough with plenty of parking.
I offer 60 minute sessions either in person or via Zoom.
Appointments are flexible and are available from 8am to 7pm Monday to Thursday.
I work with clients with a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to; anxiety, depression, low self esteem, anger, relationship issues, stress, bereavement, suicidal thoughts. I also offer Couples Counselling.
In addition to working privately, I have volunteered with Bucks Mind until recently and YES (Youth Enquiry Service) in High Wycombe.
My first session
I will arrange a telephone conversation before a first appointment so we can have a brief chat and I can explain how I work. I hope this helps to alleviate any anxiety you may have before the first session.
If you feel you would like to continue and book an appointment I will send you a contract to sign and return.
