About me and my therapy practice

**Online therapy sessions offered **

Life can be really tough and challenging at times as well as being fast paced. We don't often get the chance to take a moment and focus on how we are feeling, good or bad, so these feelings can add up and become overwhelming and all consuming. The counselling that I offer enables you to be able to take the time to talk through and explore some of these feelings and experiences. I have experience of working with adults on a short and long term basis for both Mental Health charities, addiction charity and within a NHS IAPT setting. I also have experience working with university students.

Practice description

Working as a person centred counsellor means I will work alongside you while you explore your current or past experiences and feelings without judgment or interpretation. I will listen as you come to terms with these experiences and offer you a safe, confidential and caring space.

My first session

What to expect in the first session

Before the counselling takes place, I offer a first session where I explain the type of therapy that I offer as well as going through the Counselling contract, such as confidentiality and what you can expect from the counselling. It also gives you a chance to outline what you would like to get out of the counselling and any goals that you may want to work towards.

What I can help with

Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Men's issues, OCD, Personal development, Phobias, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Service veterans, Sexual identity, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
