About me and my therapy practice
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my profile.
It can be daunting for anyone to take the first step into therapy; however, I will walk with you in your journey. Whatever you are struggling with can be talked through, processed and a way forward can be found.
I do believe that we are all unique and have our own ways in how we deal with issues that arise in our lives and you are the expert on you. It is my role within the therapy in helping you to gain a better understanding of self, feel more empowered and resourceful and gain more control over your life.

It can be hard to discuss these feeling with those around you and you may be feeling alone, well I want to assure you, you’re not, I am here to listen.
In our sessions I offer you the time and space to explore the issues that are concerning you this is done at your pace. As my approach is non-directive, it means you led the sessions, I won’t push or pry in to matters you do not want to discuss neither will I advise your or tell you how to be. We will explore the issue together in the sessions and move towards an outcome that feels right for you.
I have worked clients from all walks of life; with a broad range of issues, including but not exclusive with, Anxiety, Abuse, Bereavement, Confidence, Divorce, low self-esteem, low mood to name a few. I offer you a space in which you will lead the sessions at your own pace and where you will be heard and understood.
I will offer you confidentiality, empathy, be non-judgemental and respectful. I also offer you a Free 15min informal chat as I feel it is important that you find the right counsellor for you. Please feel free to email, call or WhatsApp me so we can arrange this.
I also offer, online and telephone sessions for those who choose to access counselling in this way as an alternative to meeting in the room. This means I am able to have sessions throughout the UK.
Note to GP's and other professionals, please give me number to your patients so they can self-refer
My first session
In our first session we will go through the contract and referral form. I will answer any questions you have about them or anything you wish to ask.
We will look at what goals you are wishing to achieve with the issue that you are presenting with.
