The work we do as therapists can be both incredibly rewarding and challenging! My style of working is integrative which means that I can draw on experience working with several modalities to support you. I describe my supervision approach as humanistic and I aim to offer a collaborative approach to supervision; to support your clinical practice, your development and creativity as a therapist - the overall aim being to give the best possible service to your clients.

With over 18 years’ experience working as a counsellor both privately and for the NHS, I have worked in organisational and private hospital settings, GP surgeries and private practice. I hold a BACP endorsed Diploma in Counselling Supervision (Accredited by ISPC) International Society of Professional Counsellors. I am an accredited member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Coaching Division.

Availability: Weekdays. Fees: £50 per hour for individuals, £20 per hour for group members (up to 3 members per group), concessions for students.

I offer an initial first session for 30 minutes free of charge, so that we can talk about whether I am the right supervisor for you, and agree how best we can work together.

I have availability for video and telephone counselling.

Welcome to Counselling & Life Coaching Services.

I'm aware it can be challenging to reach out for help and support especially if you are going through an emotionally difficult time. On top of that trying to find the right counsellor or therapist can feel overwhelming.

What I offer is an intial brief free telephone chat to see if how I work may be of use to you. Then I provide a 'one session at a time' style of therapy , so you only need to commit to the session you booked. Some people find working in this way makes the whole process of 'finding a counsellor' less daunting. Although I may suggest that it may be useful for you to have more than one session, I don't have any rules about how many therapy sessions you 'should' have, that's up to you.

During each session you can decide if and when you would like another session, and so on, until hopefully you feel things become more managable. Some of my clients prefer regular weekly sessions and some don't, my aim is to be as flexible as possible and make your therapeutic journey tailored to your needs.

Although it can feel challenging to take that first step, counselling can also be a journey of discovery where with the right support you can begin to reduce emotional distress and make the changes necessary to live life in a way that feels good for you.
