Student conference and BACP events
As a student member of BACP, you have access to a tailor made hybrid conference which takes place every two years. The conference is dedicated to supporting you to bridge the gap when you move from core training to paid employment, whatever sector you're starting out in.
Our next student conference is in 2025. Check our BACP events calendar to find out about upcoming events.
Communities of Practice
The Communities of Practice is a discussion forum for all BACP members. We encourage our student members to take a look at the Communities of Practice students community and over 20 other active communities where counsellors, psychotherapists and coaches can share their experiences and best practices.
CPD and resources
Our Learning centre supports your continuing professional development (CPD) with access to a growing library of free content, including podcasts, research resources and on demand event recordings.
The my CPD tool makes planning your learning for the year and recording your completed activities easy.
Ethical support for students
Our Ethical Framework is the foundation and support for ethical practice and there's over 100 supplementary Good Practice in Action resources to help you apply it to your practice.
For specific practice-related queries, our Ethics hub offers practical guidance and individual support, with specialist services available for supervisors or those working with children and young people.
