Opening in February 2026, our registered member to senior accredited member (SCoPEd column A-C) route 4: Dual membership transfer route will be for registered members who also hold membership with another SCoPEd partner aligned to column C of the SCoPEd framework.
The SCoPEd partners have agreed that members seeking membership with more than one SCoPEd professional body, will not need to have their SCoPEd competences reassessed. However, it’s recognised that some partners may have additional criteria which needs to be met to move into the corresponding SCoPEd aligned membership category with another professional body.
BACP accreditation also ensures competence in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) (in line with our commitments within our EDI Strategy) and in the understanding and application of our Ethical Framework. These elements of our accreditation scheme are widely recognised across the profession and also play an important role in public protection.
By completing our additional requirements and being successful in your application, you’ll be able to move to our senior accredited membership category aligned to column C of the SCoPEd framework that corresponds to that of the partner you already hold membership with.
