Our registered member to senior accredited member route 1: streamlined route is for registered members who’ve completed a BACP accredited core training course (aligned to column C of the SCoPEd framework) or a BACP accredited or approved progression training course (aligned to columns B and C of the SCoPEd framework) and who have met the training, supervised practice and personal development hours required for column C of the SCoPEd framework.
Our accredited and approved progression courses will enable members to undertake high quality post-qualifying training to further develop their knowledge, skills and abilities in line with the SCoPEd framework.
These courses are not currently running but we expect either a BACP accredited core training course or BACP accredited or approved progression training course aligned to column C of the SCoPEd framework to be available later in 2026. We’ll open applications for this route at that time.
You can still view the eligibility criteria and guidance documents.
If you're successful in your application you’ll be able to use the designatory letters ‘Registered Member MBACP (Senior Accred)’ and promote yourself as aligned to column C of the SCoPEd framework, alongside the other benefits of senior accreditation.
You’ll be required to demonstrate training, client hours, supervision, personal development and reflective practice. Your supervisor will need to provide you with a supervisor’s statement.
