I am a level 6 BSc Counselling student at the University of East London. As part of my research dissertation I am exploring clients experiences of dreamwork in counselling. I would like to talk with individuals who have experience of sharing and working with their personal dreams in counselling and would be willing to share their experience. To clarify, the dreams this research is interested in exploring are those experienced during sleep and not dreams in terms of aspirations.

Participants must be over the age of 18, have been or are a client in counselling, have at least one experience of sharing and working with their personal dreams in their counselling, and speak fluent English.

What’s involved:
The study entails attending a confidential 45-50 minute semi-structured interview with myself, the researcher. The interviews will be audio recorded and conducted online using Microsoft Teams, a secure online platform, at a time that is convenient for you. I am happy to send the proposed interview questions in advance if that is your preference.

Although I am unable to reimburse participants for their time, participation would be very much appreciated and contribute towards valuable research within the counselling field.

My research has been approved by the UEL School of Psychology Research Ethics Committee.
