Call for participants - An exploration into the over-representation of male counsellors in professional conduct cases (An Online Survey)

Daniel Gray

I am a third year degree student researching attitudes towards professional boundary violations in the therapeutic relationship for my dissertation at South Essex College. I am looking for participants to complete an anonymous online survey.

Male counsellors are over-represented in complaints statistics when considering their minority status in the profession and the purpose of this research is to explore perceptions of professional misconduct and boundary violations in a variety of scenarios.

The survey is completely confidential and anonymous and is open to both professionals and non-professionals aged 18 or over. It has been granted ethical approval by the South Essex College ethics committee.

To access the survey, please click here, or copy and paste the following address into your browser address bar:

Thank you in advance for your participation. Should you require any further information, please contact me at 50199103@student.southessex.ac.uk

Many Thanks and Kind Regards;

Dan Gray
